Internet Censorship

You might have noticed that many websites are on STRIKE today.

Wikipedia has its whole site wiped out.

It will link you to information on PIPA (protect IP act) and SOPA (Stop Online Piracy Act) and how you can act to have your voice heard to prevent censorship of the internet.

Many other sites like Google.com and WordPress.com also have similar notices up on their sites.

I love the in-your-face way of getting the point across and making a statement.  But I am also sure many people still don’t get it, nor will they take the time to read up on it.

Some counties sensor the web, you know, like China.

It’s relatively easy to open the door to censorship.  Once it’s open though, where does the line get drawn?
