Blue Bird

I found this bird, dead in my yard on Thursday.  I am not sure if the cat or one of the dogs were involved in its demise, but I wouldn’t put it past any of them.  I am not posting this to be gross, I just wanted to share how bright blue it is.
This photo is not touched up in anyway, and was taken with my iphone on Thursday March 14, 2013 outside of Harrisonburg, Virginia in the Blue Ridge Valley.

    Beautiful bird, the colour is so vibrant! Tt’s a shame it died… at my yard in the UK we’re lucky enough to have swallows nesting in our stables.
