Sometimes you need a little work place bonding. It helps build teamwork and better communication. We used to have game day Wednesdays which involved eating lunch while playing a board or card game together.
Unlike a lot of subordinates, we really like our boss. He is good at being available when you need him, and trusts you to do your job properly and with integrity. He also has a great sense of humor.
He is out of town and we decided it would be fun to spend a little of our lunch time showing him how well we are getting along and working together.
